The son of a convicted murderer / arsonist, he spends his time reading, drinking, whoring and contemplating when will be the most appropriate time to kill himself.
Loving few and owning little, Jonesy treks across this great country multiple times a year donning parkas to fight the bitter Chicago winters and happily mocking the Los Angelians who bundle up for 60 degrees in the shade. Along the way there have been several degrees, a myriad of certifications, untold accomplishments of varying importance and two very forgiving, but attention starved cats. Many days Jonesy spends time making money, the rest is spent reading, writing and always, always drinking. It’s a rough life, but someone has to live it.
Begotten or sired (it is unclear precisely which) by a Protestant pastor and a physician’s assistant, Adam Bradford Ross was born into a small town in Ohio in 1979. From early on his religious upbringing would clash with his naturally skeptical disposition. Indeed, his adolescence was particularly affected by an inability to resolve the conundrum as to whether his real father was He who resided in Heaven or he who took a small, ranch-style house on Seminary Lane. The question was definitively resolved when his hair began to rapidly thin midway through undergraduate studies. The next eight years were filled with unwanted loves, unrequited lust, and hours and hours of sleep that somehow still leave one tired the next morning. Ross currently keeps apartments in Chicago and Dubai.
Those who have inspired us, got us to where we are now and have molded our brains through manipulation and passive aggressive behavior - or in simpler terms, our friends… But we prefer to call them Powder Monkeys.
